Jaslok Hospital to invest Rs 300 cr in infrastructure expansion

Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre has planned to invest Rs 300 crore in the refurbishment of the hospital.

Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre has planned to invest Rs 300 crore in the refurbishment of the hospital. “Approx Rs 300 crore will be invested in the refurbishment over next 5 to 6 years.” Jitendra Haryan, CEO of Jaslok Hospital said.

The city-based charitable institution has rested all the speculations about taking over of daily operations and will handle the management control on their own. The 350 bedded hospital has plans to add 50,000 sq. ft. to its current space, the top executive of the company said.

“We feel that there is a huge opportunity to build relationships between patient and provider, and for best being known for clinical excellence, we are looking to strengthen the infrastructure of this iconic hospital by adding 50000 sq. ft.” Haryan said.

Last year, in the first phase of refurbishment, the hospital had launched a 37-bedded advanced ICU with multi-para monitors, ventilators, experiential waiting area for patient relatives. The hospital is looking forward to completing the current refurbishment phase by 2023.
